think he needed that, he's been getting a lil beyond hiself lately lolBut we love you XO!
@ a benefit concert? that's just rich..different strokes..
lls this nigga needed a reality check
wack thats why
The audience was probably comprised of 80% HU Freshman from Westchester (NY) or Orange County (CA) - who don't know anything about Haiti or Hip-Hop.
43! bully checkin in "i'm loco/cause ya niggas so so"XO 1.1.10 download that!..real talk the bicthes were on our dick like always you know how 43 do!, but the parents got mad..if you pay attention bicthes were screaming for the boy XO, you didn't see the back crowd just the front..but anyways keep hating, we goin continue to get money and make hit records..and if you got a problem with that holla at me! The King...lol..soft ass, hating ass, bicth boys!43ver....
I get no pleasure in seeing a good dude from the D.C. hip hop scene getting booed by some people in the crowd who dont like our city any way #FACT dont you know that the freshman at howard are told not to associate with the locals people from D.C. at orientation by the intructor let me se how many of yall gona call howard about that racist move...D.M.V D.C. what ever you call it understand the people on top laugh and love the fact that we dont like each other and tell others not to like us as well they call all of us the undesirable's so yeah we go through racism with in our music scene Too in DC what a city man....
i liked xo before he got with kenny burns. the music is not as authentic as it used to be.
yall seem to forget that the line that got the crowd booing was "ima give u ten pennies, cuz girl u a dime"
IT HAPPENS TO US ALL AT TIMES XO WILL BE AIGHT...SIMON PHEONIXXXX AKA ANDARI
Yeah alot of those ppl in the crowdr not intune wit the music here so these things do happen, XO x 43= Success right now, keep doing u slim!F.R.N.O.!!SHATiFFAuthentic Core...
I'm confused...first people say that you can't make it in DC because they hate so you got to perform out of town. But then XO "perse" is performing for an out of town crowd that's booing him...sooo ummm...well booing a line...sooo ummmm.....what gives? Maybe reality setting in. All the fake downloads and hype just isn't as real as most of ya'll want to really make it seem to be...real talk...everyone not going to like everything.
that nigga is some shit, that is why they booed. it has nothing to do with hate or d.c. or any of that, if a nigga is some shit, then a nigga is some shit. period. end of story. Oj da Juiceman got booed at a show he performed at recently, cause that nigga is some shit, and the crowd he performed for obviously thought he was some shitthats all it isif a nigga is some shit, people wont like itdone
howards boos almost everyone. he probably shouldve done another song instead of a love song but xo is that nigga. one hunid
DMV's music scene will always remain fucked up and stupid when you have dumb ass people thats going to defend this dumb ass line "ima give yu ten pennies cuz yu girl yu dime why? cuz ima make yu change..xobama same campaign?"
XO is just an ok rapper NOTHING special. Kenny Burns can try to hype the dude into a career but we all know how thats going to turn out. Whats up with Marky. lol Ya'll were on his dick last summer because Kenny told you he was hot. LOL Oh Sheila. GTFOH! LOL I saw alot of you all vibing to that Tabi shit too. You nerdy dudes think that just because you and your bamma ass crew ride a niggas dick that the rest of the world is going fall for the same crap you fall for.XO is trying to be something he is not. He try's to seem like he is some swagged out gangsta. Nobody in the GoGo (the real DC) know this lil nigga. He is literally a broke bum with no life experiences. How can real niggas, or collage educated people or hustlers relate to him? Howard booed him because he was fake they even needed to add Raheem on the hook to give this nigga a fighting national chance. When the song debuted on this blog I noticed one of the comments said, "Oh Shit! This nIgga (XO) went pop". Its only so long fake niggaz can pretend.I heard a line in a Big-B song that went "I wouldn't know none of yall if I didn't go to open mic's." and it fits. LOLDC better start backing real talent or watch the movement pass them by.
im j.s. realistate, & this is to XO..MAN KEEP DOING U...,I C U CHAMP..ONE DAY A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO MY HOMIE & I WENT TO "H.U." JUST OFF THE PUSHING OUR MIXTAPES & THEY LOOKED @ US LIKE WE WERE THERE TO ROB THEM & SH**..THERE FOR ABOUT 1HR..& GOT THE SAME REACTION FROM U GOT..BUT CHAMP THATS JUST THE WAY THEY R, ALL & ALL WE DIDNT LET THAT STOP US..CAUSE THE MONEY WE DID MAKE I PUT MYSELF IN SCHOOL CHAMP & NOW IM DOING ME..JUST KEEP IT MOVING, & CHARGE THAT B/S THAT HAPPEN TO THE GAME - LOVE MY CITY REGUARDLESS OF ITS HATA'Z
LOL What you mean they dont fuck with DC people up Howard? Phill Ade and Wale are from DC and were on the same show and the crowd didn't boo them. XO lyrics and tracks wake.
At least he kept rapping. A lot of people would've stopped the music and started going on the crowd, but he took it like a man and kept spitting. I'd rather people not react at all than to boo me, but then again, if people started booing me, then I'd just do something to make 'em start applauding instead. DMV crowds can be unforgiving sometimes, and HU crowds can be even worse than that. I don't know how to feel about it. I mean, it's crazy how it's the same X.O. that was part of the Diamond District joint, but then he flips it into something different with the 1.1.10 joint. People make it seem like he went all the way pop. Granted, the pennies-and-dimes line wasn't the line of the year, but to say that he's wack without much analysis of his overall talent is just disrespectful. My opinion though...
At least he kept rapping. Don't matter what you say about the dude, it takes a real man to stand up in the face of people basically saying "die slow" through their disdain of your music. Minus the infamous pennies-and-dime line and the song altogether--which isn't bad, but it IS a song for the chicks, people--I think X.O. is still doing his thing. Is he as raw as he was on the Diamond District joint? That's debatable. Is he trying to be something that he's not? I don't know, and I don't care. Half the rappers--including many of most people's favorite emcees--are trying to be something they're not. However, to say he's "wack" shows a lack of real analysis for somebody's body of work.
dam.... thats tuff. I cant even fake like dat cuz i used 2 not even b a fan of him like dat till 1.1.10 came out. different song might have done him some good tho for the chosen crowd. He be ight tho. He def got talent. How much you wanna bet that if he be on MTV 2morro with that same track... with raheem co-sighing all those same ppl gon b riding him hard. :-/ its all about the industry... which is messed up right now so hey. jus gotta shake it off n keep movin. da crowd was savage tho. LMFAO srry.... booing at a bennefit concert... SMH...
IM J.S. REALISTATE, WHAT PPL ARENT REALIZING IS "THAT EVENT WAS TO HELP THE PPL IN HAITI", & REGUARDLESS HOW THE PPL @ HOWARD FELT ABOUT XO'S MUSIC,HE WAS THERE TO SUPPORT THE PPL IN HAITI,& ONE WOULD THINK THAT OF ALL THE PPL IN THE WORLD,OF ALL THE SCHOOLS ON THE PLANET EARTH -HOWARD U- WOULD HAVE BEEN THE LAST PLACE TO SHOW SO MUCH IGNORANCE...BEING ONE OF THE BLACK CORNER STONES OF OUR AMERICAN EXPERIENCE AS A PPL,..MY POINT IS I THOUGHT HU WAS BETTER THAN THAT..
