@MarkyLand ft. Erick Sermon - "That Rock"
Erick and I first linked up back when I was 14 yrs old. Yrs later, we
ran into each other while I was in nYc. I had a couple of tracks that I
felt had a different vibe from what I was working on and asked him to be
apart. This one here is a production done by Shlohmo. The sound was
perfect for what I was going for.

@JelaniKwesi @LegalizeItJME @NappyNappa @KrystleMeth69 - 'Generation X'
Maryland's Black Market Cartel collective has recently dropped their new project, titled Generation X.
Generation
X is an interesting mix of sounds from all over the spectrum that
largely settles into the spacey-er sound. The group members combine for
a sound all their own, and have one of the more eclectic-sounding hip
hop projects out right now.
@whoischeamour - Break The Bank (Freestyle)
Che Amour is the newest
addition to the DMG squad and we would like to give you a formal
introduction of who she is with this freestyle over SchoolBoy Q's "Break
The Bank".
@alireza301 - Somewhere in the Grail (somewhereinamerica freestyle)
Hailing from the DMV, Alireza is a new type of artist as well as rapper.
An art for the limits of one persons voice can be seen easily in his
music. But Alireza just isnt all vocal range and flow, his lyricism has
shocked people for years with a witty approach that has listeners
rewinding the track just to catch everything. whether its one punchline
or a whole metaphorical verse he proves to be a great songwriter because
he alwaus makes the chorus an instant selling point. But the most
valuable trait of Alireza is that he can make music with any type of
instrumental. Hiphop, R&B, and trap being his forte but not his
limits. the young artist has even been heard lyrically killing anything
he has been given. take a look for yourself.

Cooley (of the Fly Rebel Society) offered this personal message on behalf of the collective:
"reFRSH is "that sauce". Every late studio session, every rehearsal, every fight was all worth it. reFRSH is the manifestation of five dreams through vivid verses and unique sounds. It is far different from our previous album, The FRESH Effect.
To our fans - (known as 'the Rebellion') - we truly appreciate each of you...y'all tight.
To the competition, the Rebels are coming.
Ladies and Gents... reFRSH is finally here!"

@BIGGZ_EST1988 (I CANT DEAL)
BORN IN BALTIMORE, MARYLAND , BRIAN "BIGGZ" HADEN HAS ALWAYS HAD A
PASSION FOR MUSIC. STARTING IN THE BAND IN 3RD GRADE HE ALWAYS HAD A
NICHE FOR PRODUCING. HE PLAYED PERCUSSION UNTIL 7TH GRADE, THEN MOVING
TO VIRGINIA BEACH HE WAS INTRODUCED TO THE WORLD OF IN STUDIO PRODUCING.
MEETING NEW FRIENDS HE THEN JOINED A LOCAL CREW CALLED THE TEAM.HE
LEARNED HOW TO MAKE BEATS AND STARTED TO DEVELOP AN EAR FOR IN STUDIO
PRODUCING AND ENGINEERING. SOON AFTER HIS CREW WENT THEIR SEPARATE WAYS
SO HE STARTED HIS OWN LABEL CALLED MAJOR MOVEMENT. WITH THEM HE STARTED
RAPPING AND THRU HIS HIGH SCHOOL CAREER AND BEGINNING ADULT LIFE HE DID
SHOWS IN ATLANTA, VA, MARYLAND, NEW JERSEY, AND NORTH CAROLINA. ALSO
LINKING WITH ANOTHER GROUP HE TOURED WITH THEM FOR A WHILE IN THE

@relloworlddino @igotit4free - Not Afraid
Virginia heart-throb
Dino B.A.M started singing at the age of 5 years old. He was driven by
the sounds of Marvin Gaye, The Whispers, Michael Jackson, and Kem. From
recording on a karaoke machine to making cassette tapes on a mini
computer, it was only the beginning for Dino.
Concepts and utilizing products such as sound proof, AKG microphone,
popper-stoppers, and m-box were only the beginning.. As he grew, he
gained extensive experience around town, both singing and rapping at
various venues, including pep-rallies, talent shows, teen club parties
and churches. The melodious wordplay of artists such as Drake, Wiz
Khalifa, and Cassidy geared him for his position among the hip-hop
greats and music producers. Currently residing in Springfield,
Virginia, he hopes to turn his passion into a career. Dino remarks,
“To me rap and R&B is more than just writing on paper and saying it
into a mic. It’s about poetry and not just telling people, but
expressing the way you feel to the world. The mic is what I vent to; its
my ‘get away’ from it all. My music simply comes from the soul and
heart, as I reach out and touch others in a way they can relate it to
me, and my life”.

Popular Misconception released today by @Awthentik
Awthentik
is by far not your typical emcee. Writing, Producing, Recording, Mixing
and Mastering every track on his latest release Popular Misconception took him only 2 months to put together. The free mixtape will be released exclusively on www.awthentik.biz but will also be available thru most popular hosting sites. On Popular Misconception, Awthentik breaks
down many frustration, and opinions on modern day culture and how
television and media play such a major influence on todays striving
artists.
Cliche rappers
seem to find themselves more and more in a suitable costume for the
buffoonery we see in mainstream rap. Awthentik presents a breath of
fresh air with Popular Misconception, his
third solo release. This project was a challenge in some sense for the
Emcee/Producer/Engineer from Silver Spring,MD. Awthentik takes the 808
drumkit (traditionally used for trap and pop music) to
exclusively produce gritty, dirty, filthy tones out of his Akai
MPC2000XL paired with Protools. Popular Misconception is sure to turn heads with its edgy lyrical content, and rugged beats. This project is free on www.awthentik.biz as a pre release to Awthentik's album coming this Winter
