Redhead - "Am I Thirsty? Pt. 1"
Capitol Heights hiphop artist Redhead drops a new song titled "Am I
Thirsty? Pt. 1". In this first installment of a concept that he's
drafted, Redhead paints a picture of modern relationships being shaky
due to the rise of social media. In this somewhat anti-Valentines Day
record, he describes how most relationships don't come to fruition

DINO B.A.M releases "Oh Yeah"
This young heart-throb coming from Campbellsville, Kentucky, residing
in Virginia started singing at the age of 5 years old. He was driven by
the sounds of Marvin Gaye, The Whispers, Michael Jackson, and Kem. From
recording on a karaoke machine to making cassette tapes on a mini
computer, it was only the beginning for Dino. Concepts and utilizing
products such as sound proof, AKG microphone, popper-stoppers, and m-box
were only the beginning.. As he grew, he gained extensive experience
around town, both singing and rapping at various venues, including
pep-rallies, talent shows, teen club parties and churches. The melodious
wordplay of artists such as Drake, Wiz Khalifa, and Cassidy geared him
for his position among the hip-hop greats and music producers.
Currently residing in Springfield, Virginia, he hopes to turn his
passion into a career. Dino remarks, “To me rap and R&B is more than
just writing on paper and saying it into a mic. It’s about poetry and
not just telling people, but expressing the way you feel to the world.
The mic is what I vent to; its my ‘get away’ from it all. My music
simply comes from the soul and heart, as I reach out and touch others in
a way they can relate it to me, and my life”.
Nooch - "Suge Knight" [Feat. Cerdafied]
It's only right that 18-year-old D.C. rapper Nooch sports a Los Angeles cap and a t-shirt showing a Death Row-era mugshot of Snoop Dogg in the video for "Suge Knight," the first single from his upcoming collaborative mixtape, Nail In the Coffin, with Baton Rouge-native Cerdafied.
Their black apparel comes to the forefront of a smoky gray setting as
zoned-out bells echo behind the drums that knock atop a haunting organ.
With his jheri curl swinging, Nooch raps, "take a picture of a n*gga wit
an attitude." Premiering today on AllHipHop, the video was directed by Alex Acosta, who has also directed videos for heavy-hitters Jim Jones, Wale, Gucci Mane, and Paul Wall.
Following the release of Nail In the Coffin, Nooch will be releasing his album Sophomore Slump, which includes features from Wale, Paul Wall, and Fat Trel. Also known as "Oneway Nooch," he's the newest member of DMV-based label Oy Boyz Records.

@oozdidit - Life's Good
World Release of “Life’s Good” by DMV via Gambia Hip Hop Artists’ Oo z FtMalick IV
“Life’s Good” is the first collaboration between international Hip Hop Artists’ Ooz and Malick IV.Bot h artists are originally from The Gambia, but spent the majority of their adult lives living in the DMV (Ooz) and London (Malick IV). Although residing in two very different parts of the world, both artists have the same drive and determination behind their music to put on and represent for their Motherland.
“Life’s Good” will be the first single off of Ooz’sunreleased EP Short Days Long Night II (SDLN II),and its premiere kicks off the countdown for the release of the album. Ooz who has been a driving force in the music industry since 2004, is using this next album to shed light on the lifestyle behind hiseveryday grind to make it to the top, Short Days, Long Nights.
This single, “Life’s Good”, is just one chronicle into the many that Ooz shares in SDLN II and depicts the illusion around money and how differently the world perceives you when you have it. If you love this single, you will definitely want to check out the full EP SDLN II, which is scheduled for release late March of this year. You can download “Life’s Good”
Funky DL's 2014 Kickstarter campaign for the "CUT FROM THE ILLEST CLOTH" album
I wanted to reach out to you regarding a 30-day Kickstarter campaign
I’ve just launched for a new full vocaled album entitled “CUT FROM THE
ILLEST CLOTH” (an instrumental version will also be released).

Of course, with your blog being one which carries and supports quality content, I was hoping that you would consider blogging this project, which would assist my campaign in getting some additional width of exposure, and thereby increasing the prospect of its success.
This project is not just about making another album; it’s about making the album with the resources that can help this release to have a much greater impact than my previous work (both creatively and in terms of the response it receives). The above link will explain this in much more detail.
I am very fortunate to have people enjoy my music the way they do. From my own albums and instrumental projects, to the remix and free projects I drop, I receive a continued love and appreciation for my creativity. I only wish that I could do it with a bigger backing of resources; so in many ways, this campaign will help to achieve this.
There is a brand new 2-part full 1hr interview where DL discusses the campaign and much more about his career and life, which has just been published on Bandcamp today.

I’ll be glad to provide you with more information if you need it, and I very much appreciate you taking the time to read this. I am aware that some bloggers may not post in this way and keep their content limited to the release itself or only instrumental projects. This I understand, so I'll leave it to your discretion to decide what is best for your site.
But thank you for your time and consideration. And I sincerely hope the rest of 2014 does great things for you and your endeavours.
If there's anything I can do for you, don't hesitate to ask.
Kindest regards,
Funky DL
