Tef Wesley is back in action. After sending a warning shot out with "RX" last year, he's serving up a brand new single, "Gametime" to kick off things in 2015. Produced by Grussle, this will be on their upcoming collaborative album Pens & Needles due out later this year.

sound with thorough rhymes over hard hitting production by Grussle and

The Last Son is the debut project from Maryland upstart Kalel. Boosting features from fellow DMV natives Nikkoi Maurice and Joey Green, the new EP also variety of producers including Wonya Love and Ado The God. Equipped with hard hitting tracks like "1157", the 8 song body of work is balanced off by smooth cuts like "Waiting On Eventually" and "Solitude Fortress."

[EVENT RECAP:] BOSHOK Clothing Successfully Celebrate Spring ’15 Collection Pop-Up Shop in Washington, DC
WASHINGTON,DC— On Saturday, April 4, BOSHOK clothing presented
their Spring ’15 “Return of The King” Collection by hosting an intimate Pop-Up
Shop in Washington, DC. Held in the historic U Street district of Washington, BOSHOK
fans and supporters where able to relish in the cities culture and arts scene, while
enjoying BOSHOK’s newest collection. Event supporters enjoyed music, raffle giveaways,
and a live fashion show presentation of the line during the evening.
The event also
allowed supporters of the line to meet and greet the lines CEO, Victor Umeh.
Joining Vic and his BOSHOK team was the event host Jeff Jackson (actor/comedian),
the night’s musical guest Ras Nebyu (recording artist), and DJ K-Meta served as
the house DJ. During the pop-up shop guest shopped and sipped while replenishing
their thirst with complimentary Sparking ICE. Sparking ICE joined BOSHOK
throughout the evening as the event’s official drink sponsor.

lived there for half his life. At the age of 10 he moved with his family
to the United States. Living in Baltimore, MD, he learned quickly on

society, from society to economy, it was same the shit just in a
different place, but the one difference was that there was hope for

Willow and Jaden Smith Join @BroccoliCity Festival 2015 Line-Up with Erykah Badu

Broccoli City announced today that multi-talented stars Willow and
Jaden Smith – daughter and son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith – will be
joining the 2015 Broccoli City Festival (BC Fest) line-up on Saturday,
April 25th.
Held at Gateway DC from noon to 9 p.m.,
BC Fest is packed with cool activations including fresh food demos led
by Whole Foods Market, a pop-up market featuring eco-friendly vendors,
fully stocked bars, live art installations, fitness, a full-service
organic juice bar, an acupuncture and massage center, and food trucks
offering the city's best mobile cuisines. Grammy award winning superstar
Erykah Badu will headline the festival, which includes performances
from big name acts like Joey Bada$$, Kaytranada, Tink, Tiara Thomas,
Kali Uchis and more.
Since
debuting in 2013, BC Fest has continued a tradition of bringing
together policy makers, business leaders, acclaimed musicians and
community stakeholders to highlight solutions to environmental
challenges.
