R.I.P to Shakir Stewart. I had the honor to meet, party and build with this dude on many occasions. Real cool dude 150%. My last time seeing him was at KB party in Miami and my last time rapping to him was about 2 months ago while I was in Chicago.
Shakir was the Executive Vice President of Def Jam. He was found in his home with a single gunshot wound to his head. And while the official cause of death has not been released, but it's looking like suicide as the cause.
