This is the breakthrough mixtape effort of the up-and-coming ArtLyfEnt brand. It features many talented music artists from the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area. There are some very familiar signature names on it such as Tabi Bonney, Uptown X.O., and of course Wale. But there are also many artists who are on their path to greatness and are just beginning to make waves in the area such as Kingpen Slim, Bear Witnez, Muggsy Malone, RatheMC, ItsDaKid, and Emperess just to name a few. It also features beats from some of the most talented producers in the area; E-Minah, Oddisee, Infinite Legacy, Sinitus Tempo and Judah are just some of the many . Most of the artists from this mixtape already have mixtapes of their own and this project actually provides a sample of what's to be expected on their mixtapes when you download them. This mixtape has a diverse collection of sounds. Within this mixtape you get a diverse spectrum of the mainstream rap we hear today and the raw, underground hip-hop flavor that the airwaves have been lacking lately. We present this to our listeners as a sample of what the DMV music scene is made of with 20 tracks that make it well worth the download. This is the first in a series of many, so ArtLyfEnt hopes people will embrace it and look forward to future volumes.
