In my personal opinion BDR is one of the dopest emcees in the DMV. Can't really understand why he wasn't on some of yall list for most anticipated DMV emcees for 09........... but then again I know why!!!!!

You wonder why cats like Tabi and Wale aren't what you perceive to be as "accessible"? Think about it. These guys are putting in tons of work to maintain and elevate their positions in a now-evolving industry. There simply is no time to be "accessible" to people who just want to take, take, take and talk, talk, talk all damn day.
There's work to do. People to meet. Great songs to make. And any true artist knows what a real work ethic is. Hanging on corners don't do nothing for nobody but pad YOUR ego that such-and-such is "still hood". For what? For who? Most of that love is fake anyway! Cats only building you up to try and take your position! It's not worth the time, risk, and money involved to be what some may call "accessible".
Of course once youre "on" u cant be as accesible as u once were... but what they saying is there was never a "once were"
