Pappa G ft. Raheem Devaughn - The Motivation (Produced by Mark Henry)

Pappa G ft. Raheem Devaughn - The Motivation (Produced by Mark Henry) from PAPPA-G on Vimeo.

Some have been lucky enough to experience Pappa-G, but it won't be
long until that lucky few will become a lucky many. Pappa-G first
broke onto the scene in 2009 when he met Jive recording artist Raheem
Devaughn. The two hit it off and immediately began recording together.
The track “Ghetto Sunshine” was their first collaboration; its
soulful hooks and laid-back beat let Pappa-G's calm demeanor and raw
flow grab a hold of you as vibe to the slow-jam.
A Virginia raised hip-hop artist, he has always blazed his own trail.
Unconcerned with labels like “the next big thing” or nominations like
his 2010 nomination for “best new artist,” Pappa-G has let his hustle
and flow accentuate his craft. He has opened for both Keyshia Cole and
Tank. But, the DMV is at the heart of who he is as both an artist and
performer and he has taken great joy having performed with DC's award
winning #1 live Go-Go band Mambo Sauce and at the DC convention center
for WPGC 95.5's “For Sister's Only” event.
With his debut album featuring two songs with Raheem Devaughn and
another with west coast legend Shade Shiest, Pappa-G is posed to break
out huge. He is a Virginian who delivers time in and time out, and it
is only a matter of dwindling time until everyone experiences his
talent and welcomes him with open ears.
