Support Area Children at The BPBF's Back to School Drive!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

THE BPBF, INC. SUPPORTS AREA CHILDREN WITH WEEKEND SCHOOL DRIVE!

AUGUST 8, 2011 (WASHINGTON, DC) - In support of Washington, DC area school children, The Board of Professional Black Females, Inc. is holding a school supply drive on Saturday, August 13, 2011. The surrounding community is encouraged to drop-off new, unused school supplies from 12pm-4pm at Earl Howard Studios (2528 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, WDC 20020).

Supplies may consist of a range of items, from pencils, paper, notebooks, rulers, and erasers, to book bags, lunch boxes, and new uniforms. Too often, underprivileged families are forced to sacrifice the essential needs of their childrens’ education to provide for an entire household - The BPBF hopes to ease these types of families’ transition into the upcoming 2011-2012 school year.
