Baltimore emcee, Born King has released his new mixtape entitled, A Nightmare on Beat Street; the mixtape is available for free download at: http://www.madthinkah.com and http://www.madthinkah.bandcamp.com ; physical copies of the mixtape are available by request.
A Nightmare on Beat Street is based on the horror film monster, Freddy Kruger. The mixtape shows a dark and edgy side to hip-hop through raw, straight-forward lyrics and samples from the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise; it repairs the bridge between old and new school hip-hop through an array of various instrumentals ranging from Nas, Rick Ross, 50 Cent e.t.c. creating a balanced and tasteful project for both underground and mainstream hip-hop fans to appreciate.
