Lastnight @ the 930 Club History was jive made. You had Wale x UCB x Tabi x Phil Ade x XO. It was a GREAT show. I caught the end of Phils set but I heard he did his thing. XO ripped it......deep down inside tho MANY wished he brought out THE DIAMOND DISTRICT for atleast 1 song. He stilled banged and repped 1000%. Tabi Set was create as usual. Tabi even brought out the band and put the young crowd in a TRUE OLD SCKOOL POCKET! Tabi also had one of the HOTTEST females on stage modeling while he performed "Escalator". So the headliner Wale hit the stage and banged out alot of the go go OG joints that put him where he is today. He pulled a good move and brought "Ms. Kim" out to hit a Rare Essence joint and also brought "Young Chris" out which in my opinion he could've stayed BACK STAGE. The crowd was energetic and hit most of the songs while he performed them. The crowd was a rainbow of skin tones and really a good look for the artist performing. I felt personally good because 3 artist(WALE, TABI and XO) that I jive helped in the game before a lot of you knew who they where, where bringing the 930 house down. If you wasnt there well hopefully theres a next time.

Good write up. From everybody's tweets last night, the show sounded crazy. Wish I was there but I couldn't of made it. Feels good to see, hear and read that the DMV is doing their thing. Major props to you on helping and playing a major role in it as well as this site. Much respect as always.

o yeh, Tabi's dancer is super fine. Reminds me of the female from Zhane but better!!!!

Heard good things about the show. Congrads to XO for getting on that bill.
I heard about a freestyle battle that occured on 9th and U St. after the show. I was out of the country but I heard Pro'verb and Lyriciss got dug a new asshole but some dude named King Swagg. I hear DJ Alizay and others bet $6,000 on him. Is there are video or anybody have any insight? Now I see they havin an offical battle at Club XII (Pro'verb vs. King Swagg). What's it gonna be?
