On June 19, 1986 Maryland University Star Basketball Player Len Bias died of a cocaine overdose. He was a iconic figure in the DMV and was the #1 draft pick for the Boston Celtics. Google him and get hip. I used to mimic this guys moves on the playground and his death was a powerful impact to the DMV and made everyone come to face the repercussions of the "Crack Era".
