where to begin! I really liked nando but then this song really displays how much of a fan he is of wale's than trying to be his own artist. In my personal opinion the whole sound of this record is tired and most of us to be honest dont want to hear this sound unless its wale. 6/10 and thats being nice because i heard better creativity from son.
I can see the good elements of the song, but the way it came together sounds a lot like a Wale track.
Now let me clean that up:
I know from hearing Nando's other stuff that that's not what he's out to do, but the challenge that we all have to face is the fact that as soon you hear a congo in the beat, the comparison from listemers will always go straight to Wale. The challenge is doing all you can to separate yourself from him.
If you're on a Best Kept Secret beat you gotta try as hard as you can to be as un-Wale as possible.
I've deleted a bunch of my tracks on gogo samples for that very same reason.
