The Redstar Soul show brought to you by the good people of Heineken was in full effect in the DMV last night. It was at a new venue (Ibiza) this year and in my personnel opinion I liked it when it was at Love nightclub. As for the performances I stayed only for Chrisette Michele's performance and to see Tabi Bonney get recognized for his independent achievements. Raheem went on a little later and I'm sure he killed it ( I been to several Raheem shows).
The women were definitely in the show and it didn't feel like I was at a redskins game with a rack of dudes. There were a wide range of women from tall to short, light skinned to dark skinned, petite to fat (I give great details huh?). There were also some celebs in the building and several people to network with for future business (I know I made a few connects in there). Overall i give the show a 7 out of 10.
I definitely recommend you go next year!

Raheem was good but a lot of people got restless waiting for him to come on and left right before or during his performance. The free Heineken was nice too! lol.
kenny burns killed it! i didn't know that bama was an artist too...lol
