Maya Milan - So Wassup ft. Monty Cold

Maya Russell, musically known as Maya Milan, is an American singer/songwriter.  Born and raised in Maryland, she discovered her love for music while participating in her elementary school choir as a second grader.  It was evident from that moment on; Maya discovered her true passion. Milan has since embarked on a musical journey destined to take the entertainment industry by storm. She has performed in front of large crowds, and opened for artists such as: K. Michelle, J. Cole, the Migos, 2 Chainz, Young Dro, Big Sean, amongst others. She continues to write, perform, and has even put her acting skills to work.

Milan has won numerous showcases and competitions in several major markets and continues to make noise as a rising star. She was the first student artist to perform at MSU’s Homecoming two years in a row, she performed at Howard University’s Yard Fest and has been invited to perform for private events, government officials, including the First Lady of the United States during the 2012 Presidential campaign season and a plethora of other venues all over the U.S. As an artist Maya has traveled all over the United States performing, while working tirelessly on her Highly Anticipated project, Milan Mode The EP. Milan Mode was birthed in 2011 and has become the soundtrack to her transition out of adolescence into young adulthood. She and her producers Signature Production Team and Manager Queen have worked diligently to create a sound for Maya that allows her to standout amongst her musical peers.
