Register to Audition for #MadeInTheDMV Show

All Emcees, singers, producers, and DJs are welcome to audition!

Audition for a spot to perform at the #MadeInTheDMV Show featuring the DMV's top talent! The show will be Saturday, December 6, 6pm at Capitale, 1301 K St NW, DC.

If you are selected for the #MadeInTheDMV Show, you will perform your next hit or breakout record or producers will participate in a beat battle before our industry panel and crowd. You will be provided feedback by our panel who will vote, along with the crowd, on the DMV’s next hit record(s) or beat(s). Our panelists and sponsors will provide additional exposure opportunities for performers to include media features, future performance opportunities, and a complimentary producer’s session.

Date/Location
Auditions will be held at multiple dates, times, and locations (to be announced) to ensure all registrants get the opportunity to audition.

Requirements for Audition
Must register to audition, registration fee includes a donation to Will Rap 4 Food, Inc. Must be 18+ to audition. Bring a performance track of 1 original song or your beat on both CD and USB. During the audition, you will be provided with a maximum of 5 minutes to perform your song or play your beat. You will be provided feedback on your performance at the audition by our preliminary panel.

Select performers will receive the following based on individual panelist preferences:

Allhiphop.com “Breeding Ground” feature
Producer Tone P will select a performer for a one-on-one session and custom production
Jermon Williams will select performers for the 2015 Broccoli City Festival

Register to Attend the #MadeInTheDMV Show

The free #MadeInTheDMV Show will serve as a platform to break the DMV's top emerging talent and their records on a national level. Attendees will enjoy a live musical experience by the DMV's top talent. There will be giveaways from participating sponsors.

Each talent will be given a chance to perform an original single they believe to be a hit or breakout record in front of a live audience and an industry panel. Each talent will receive feedback from the panel, and the panel and crowd as a collective will vote on the records from the DMV that have commercial appeal or are radio-ready.
