I recorded an interlude for my album, The Balance,
3 years ago. It didn’t make the final cut of the album that finally
dropped last year, but in light of everything going on right now, I feel
like I want to drop this right now. Not for attention. Not for
publicity. Just because the song is relevant to how I feel with the
Ferguson situation and more. Sometimes, you have to drop music simply
because it’s right. I don’t know if it’ll make its way onto any of my
projects, so fuck it. Sad to say that since I recorded this in 2011, not
much has changed here in 2014.
