Breakthrough Richmond MC Noah-O is has released a visual
for his tribute track to the Harlem legend Big L. The song “Put Em On”
is produced by the Richmond hip hop pioneer Kleph Dollaz (Ill Biskitz)
who passed away in 2012. Noah held the project for several years in
order to make sure the final EP paid the proper homage to Kleph’s
memory. “Put Em On” shows Noah’s love for hip hop culture, his family,
and his Charged Up Ent. crew. The video is directed by Soul Live Media
with creative assistance from the emerging Virginia brand The Cheats
Movement.
"Under Kleph's guidance I was able to find my voice as an
artist. He saw something special in me and with his guidance I was able
to unlock new stories and imagery that were undiscovered. Kleph created
All Souled Out to pay homage to Pete Rock & CL Smooth who dropped an
album under the same name. He handled the production and I rhymed. This
album really paved the way for everything I’m doing now.” – Noah-O
