Stephen Redhead releases rebuttal to new controversial record
Redhead lends his voice to a stance for the Black community
After the release of the controversial song "I'm Not Racist" by rapper Joyner Lucas,
a lot of mixed reviews were voiced by the public about the content of
the record. To most concern was the seemingly limited perspective of the
Black character as he was being chastised by his white counterpart
about his position in American society. Stephen Redhead
came across the song after hearing criticisms, and decided to have fun
by penning a verse to finish the job that he felt Joyner left
unfinished. Redhead will appear at Ivy City Smokehouse in Washington, DC on Thursday, December 7th at 8PM as he opens for comedian Chico Bean from Wild N Out.
