not to get it confused, i do love the unity that was shown on this joint! We need more collabs in the city....so whats good Judah? you gon be the DMV's DJ Khaled or what?
This joint jive rock in my opinion wasn't feeling some of the verses but the beat rocks like none other. I can see some rappers talking sour because they not one this.
AND I WAS LOOKIN' FORWARD TO HEARIN' THIS TRACK AFTER ALL BUZZ ABOUT IT COMIN' OUT. HOT BEAT HOWEVER BUT I GUESS I EXPECTED MORE. IT WASN'T HYPE ENOUGH. THAT BEAT AND CHORUS WAS HYPE BUT MOST OF THE RAPPERS HAD NO ENERGY. I ONLY HEARD THAT FROM THE 1ST GUY AND THE GUY WHO YELLED OUT "WASH ME" DURING HIS VERSE. I RAP ALSO AND I'M NOT JUST SAYING THIS BECAUSE I'M NOT ON THE SONG LIKE "RADIO GUY" THINKS SOME PEOPLE ARE DOING. THATS ME BEING HONEST. 5 OUT OF 10
Judah, Thank you for the opportunity to work on this track with you. You never let me and Mo hear it in the studio so its a suprise for me too. I like the hook mane.!
I like this joint the only verses I didn't like was the 3rd and last. The beat was crazy. Good to see artist from different camps and circles together. 8/10
I fucks with this joint mo forreal. it wasnt overhyped it aint like they was saying "smash single" or "#1 hit or something yall nigga petty. eventhough i dont like all the verses shit rocks off the beat alone. 9/10
i been on the scene here for 7 years and yall young internet nigga dont even know what this shit means. Wali from the circle boys(this is the dude that wale give praise to) is on this joint. kingpin is solid, xo is solid, garvey is solid. yall young internet nigga dont get it. this would never happen years ago because niggas beefed in the streets forreal and didnt do this faggot internet shit but slim put this shit together. youll nigga just dont get it.
IM SO FUCKING TIRED OF NIGGAZ TRYING TO GIVE A PASS TO CERTAIN DC RAPPERS BECAUSE THEY ARE "AREA LEGENDS" OR "TALK ABOUT" AND SHIT LIKE THAT. NOW MOST OF THESE DUDES ARE HOT ARTISTS BUT JUST BECAUSE A NIGGA DONT LIKE THE SONG DONT MEAN THEY DONT LIKE THE ARTISTS. I DONT GIVE A DAMN WHO ON THIS JOINT. ITS IIGHT, NUFIN MORE THAN THAT. JUDAH DID HIS THANG ON THE BEAT AND THE UNIFICATION OF DMV ARTISTS WAS NEEED. WE ALL KNOW WHO THESE NIGGAZ IS, WTF DOES THAT MEAN? WE SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY FUCK WIT THA TRACK??? FAN ASS NIGGAZ ARE BLINDED BY THE TRUTH. EVERYTHING YOU MANZ PUT OUT AINT GON BE FIYA IN EVERYBODY EYES...GET OVER IT!!!!
i dont like it i love this song. niggas say they let down fuck it how can you be let down when it was for like uptown said "unification" like it or not shit was good to see everybody on there together. And on some real most dmv internet rappers are bitches. They wouldnt have lasted 10 mins on the dmv rap scene years ago.

Good looks judah for putting this together most of these niggas out here wouldnt or couldnt do it so big ups. songs is a 7/10 to me. beat is crack some rhymes rock harder than others
The unity track has already been done. Brother Maniac got a DMV unity track with 20+ artists. I think this was an attempt to get the hottest in the city on one track. Honestly it just needs another beat. Most of the dudes on this track dont rap on this style of beat.
Aight first of all it was a great idea...an it commands attention because of the artist who are on it, the are all known by the respect areas they each have their own fanbase, i like the beat it was real truimpant like. I think the song would've been better if it had a concept the artist were writing to but judging it for what it was it's fine..none of the artist even knew what the other was doing...it was an organized cypher of sorts..mc's just doing them..different styles came across the track an i think thats what throws listeners off. But I promise if this same group of mc's were assembled with a common goal, purpose and concept...whew! it's a wrap!
I give the song a 7/10 but I was listening for lyrics an i know what these dudes are capable of!
i commend the unity but....i guess like the other bamma said i just expected more. I was anticipating hearing XO verse but slim jy let me down i fucks with cuz. For real tho the white dude had the best verse.
On a funny note i was wiggin last night listening 2 this i thought i heard Jim Jones, Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes on this blend.

ReplyDeleteFirst off lemme say Judah, you da man. Good look with the blog and the effort for the collab with these different rappers. The unification is great.
ReplyDeleteBut looking at the names on it and the excellent promo behind it, I set my expectations real high and I'm a little let down overall.
Plus one of my peeves is verses about DC, what's we're known for, what we do, names of streets in DC. I hate that I hate that I hate that hate that.
But good looks, can't wait until the next one.
