Riviera Beach, Florida cops have been aggressively enforcing a new city ordinance targeting black folks who believe in the fashion philosophy that includes exposing one’s drawers in public….you know the baggy jeans loook.
According to The Smoking Gun and a CBS 12 report, since the crackdown began last month, 11 have been ARRESTED including two are juveniles. The ordinance defines violators as those whose pants or shorts exposed between two and five inches of the individual’s undergarments. Translation: if half of your boxers are showing you’re going to jail.
According to the police reports obtained by TSG, one of the juvenile offenders reportedly cursed out the arresting officer and allegedly said “Your a cracker and ain’t got shit better to do.” First-time violators of the ordinance face a fine of up to $150. Repeat offenders could be sentenced to a maximum of 30 days in jail.
Ok Im not at all a fan of the look. Not by any means. However sending them to jail?...come on really? Heck even the fine is crazy how many people do things that makes others uncomfortable? People are allowed to smoke cigs and pollute the air which is actually leading to the death of others (cause more people die from 2nd hand smoke than emphazima)an it's ok? Get out here..I think the look is awful but it's their right...like it or not, well it should be their right.

A month in jail when the kids should be in school, now they gotta record preventing them from future jobs..then what are they gonna do? hmmmmm leading them into a real life of crime. But of course they powers that be make money off of the PRISON INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX...know what Im mad now Im out!
